The Utility warehouse are suppliers of a wide range of domestic and commercial utility services including: Home phones, mobile phones, internet access (Both broadband and dial-up), Gas and Electricity.
They pride themselves that they will pass on fluctuations in energy pricing to their customers in a fair minded manner. When fuel prices rise most companies put up their prices quickly but are quite slow to reduce them when prices fall. Utility Warehouse undertake to review pricing on a monthly basis and make reductions as quickly as increases.
They have a “Triple Value Guarantee” in which they undertake that they will always be cheaper than British Gas, that their electricity prices will always be lower than the regional electricity supplier for your region and that all their energy prices will always be lower than the “Big Six” energy companies who are: British Gas, Npower, Powergen, EDF, Scottish and Southern Energy and Scottish Power.
Their standing charges for electricity supplies are set at three levels: low users pay a 50p standing charge per month, standard users pay £2.50 per month and those who consume a large amount pay £4.50 per month.
These prices include VAT at the current charged rate. In addition they do not require you to sign up to a minimum term contract, leaving you free to switch again if not entirely satisfied with their service or pricing.
For a household who use a wide range of utilities, such as telephony, broadband internet access, gas and electricity it may be worth considering this supplier.
