E.ON Announces Brand new Boiler Care Service
Posted on: April 26th, 2010 by Jenson BrayshawIt now seems that energy consumers will not only be able to ensure that their domestic heating system is working right, but they will be able to make sure their car is fit enough to remain on the road. This is all thanks to a brand new boiler care service that has been launched by E.ON.
This new service will combine RAC Roadside Breakdown Cover in addition to E.ON’s very own Center Heating Care. Adrian Harvey, E.ON’s managing director, said that the boilers breaking down and having to wait on the roadside after a car breaks down is equally as frustrating. Now when consumers take E.ON’s Central Heating Care, they will not only get 24 hour assistance with everything from a broken boiler to blocked drains and faulty wiring, they will also get complimentary RAC Breakdown Cover. This will make sure that the consumer is completely covered whether they are at home or away.
Adrian Harvey went on to say that cars and heating systems are very similar. This is because both need to be well maintained to guarantee lower running costs and reduced carbon emissions. Earlier this month, E.ON confirmed that its Robin Rigg offshore wind farm in the Solway Firth had begun operations.
So this new offer from E.ON has some experts thinking that E.ON is now just adding on new features to try and get people to side with them. After all, being an energy provider and a roadside assistance company are pretty different things. No matter what the reason, most experts do agree that it is pretty helpful no matter what.
