Honda hybrid CR-Z goes on sale this year

Honda is going from attractive to super sexy. Recently, Honda revealed its new CR-Z Hybrid sports coupe in Detroit. It is believed to be the most eye-catching and the cheapest hybrid car ever to hit the road.
The CR-Z boasts a 1.5-litre engine, and with battery-driven assistance, the vehicle can deliver 122bhp and can go 0-62mph in nine seconds. The fuel consumption of the CR-Z is at 55mpg while its carbon gas emission is at 100g/km. Honda’s price tag to the new hybrid is at £18,000 by the time it goes on sale late this year.
Meanwhile, Honda also has created a striking Ford S-Max equal, the Skydeck Hybrid, which was made public last year at a show in Tokyo. The sleek MVP, which will likely to replace the FR-V in Europe, has three rows of seats instead of the previous car’s two benches.
The automaker is also planning to launch an electric city car similar to the Fiat 500 or Smart Fortwo. Honda moreover revealed plans to sell an electric Jazz vehicle by the end of next year in the hope to boost hybrid vehicle sales to 500,000 units annually.
Honda’s first pitch in the green vehicle industry was this years CR-V. The 4×4 car is a huge seller among Brits because it is spacious and durable. The Honda CR-V is sold at £22,972 for the automatic model while the manual version costs £21,642.
