Innovative solutions and technology
Posted on: December 21st, 2007 by adminThe study of climate has resulted in understanding why there needs to be targets to meet energy saving levels. This is most essential when working towards curbing the carbon emission from vehicles across the world, especially in Britain since this causes most harm to the climatic changes and global warming. Universities and engineers are being called upon to offer their views and bring about innovative methods of dealing with this wide spread issue. Even though it is known to be possible to meet the targets, the solution drawn by these specialist engineers will add value to the study and make the herculean task not so mammoth like. The tools that are needed in order to work at curbing emission also comes from engineering. Renewable energy, wind farms, solar power are all options to conserve energy and increase generations of electricity but these are not permanent solutions.
Carbon capture, and storage of the same is a big issue, and so new technologies need to be put in place to handle this rising problem while working on increasing generation of power. Practical issues need to be considered to make the plans come alive and create a difference in the country. Or else the whole course of action will fail and this is what was deduced at the Bali conference.
Keeping in mind the future needs for energy, and trying to establish energy independence in UK, experts are working at battling the challenges in the way by identifying their root and killing them.
