Michael Jackson Personal Physician Being Questioned

Posted on: June 29th, 2009 by Tessa Clarke

As many have already heard, last Thursday, at the age of 50, Michael Jackson passed away from a heart attack. Mr Jackson was not dead by the time he reach the hospital, but he did die soon after. Michael Jackson’s personal doctor, Dr Conrad Murray, who was on scene at the time of the heart attack is now being questioned by the Los Angeles police department.

The official autopsy for Michael was done last Friday. However, the autopsy failed to find the actual cause of the heart attack, which would be the cause of death. The Jackson family has now sought for a second autopsy to be done. Many different questions have now been raised about the singer and his relationship with prescription medications.

Dr Conrad Murray was with the singer when he collapsed from the heart attack at his home. It is said that Dr Murray had already hired an attorney to accompany him to the Los Angeles Police Department for questioning.

The law firm that went in for questioning with Dr Murray, Dtadley, Chernoff & Alford, said that the doctor is being questioned, because he is a witness to the events that happened, but is not a suspect. Dr Murray had simply hired this law firm to help him through the police investigation process and to make sure that the police investigation was done right.

Many media reports have already pointed out that Michael had been injected by the narcotic painkiller known as Demerol just shortly before he had the heart attack. By the time paramedics arrived, Dr Murray was trying to revive Michael.

The very first autopsy did fail to determine the cause of death, but a toxicology test is still out and will not return for six weeks.
