Natural Power has announced that they have signed a contract with the Germany utility giant’s subsidy, E.ON Climate & Renewables, to provide technical services to sites in mainland Europe which will include measurements and wind appraisals.

Currently, E.ON and Natural Power have previously worked together in several instances on projects which include E.ON’s Robin Rigg offshore wind energy project. The two companies also joined to work together at the Camster wind farm.

To date, Natural Power has garnered at total of 20,000 MW of technical service experience which it will pull upon to help E.ON with wind appraisals in the form of measurements, layout designs, and energy yield assessments.

Oisin Brady, the director for Natural Power in France, said that the company has already worked with E.ON for several years on many projects and is glad to have an agreed framework with which to work on again together. He added that co-partnering will help both companies accelerate existing projects and solidify their working relationship for future projects.
