Right now everyone wants to do their part for the environment. That means buying cars that are better for the planet. Well there is now a new option from Renault that offers low emissions. This option, which was first debuted at the Paris Motor Show just last year, is a new state-of-the-art 1.6 liter, 130-hour power energy diesel engine. Yeah it is a mouthful to say, but it gets the job done.

So what does this car offer people? Well it offers people a chance to get a car that is, not only good to the planet, but it is good on petrol. It is perfect for all of the very “cash strapped” families out there in the world right now. No matter how big the family is, there is a style of this car for them that uses this engine - Scénic family.

In fact, this new cars comes in both a seven-seat and a five-seat version. Overall, it offers the lowest emissions and best fuel economy of any other MPV powered by a similar size engine. This means that the driver does not have to lose power just because he wants to be good to the environment.

Compared to any of the other former 1.9 liter diesel engines that offer the same kind of horsepower, this car boasts CO2 emissions that are slashed by an amazing fifth. This means that they are down from 149 to 115 grams per kilometre. Now that is something the driver can feel good about. In fact, experts say that the average family will save about £95 in the first year on petrol prices alone.
