Saving Energy Now Easier Than Ever Before

Apparently saving energy is becoming easier than it ever use to be, according to Anna Marie DeSousa, who is the editor at Build It magazine. Installing technologies such as air or ground source heat pumps are more affordable due to government incentives. Consumers who are looking for even easier ways to save money and become more energy efficient are ditching the old tumble dryers as well.

Anna Marie said that being environmentally aware and leading a sustainable lifestyle is an increasingly important part of modern life. She said that people can no longer just ignore this anymore. People who are building a new home need to be aware that building regulations change next month. Houses now have to be more energy efficient than ever before.

Ms DeSouza went on to claim that the most important way to save energy right now is by way of insulation. People spend a lot of money to heat and cool their homes. However, without good insulation they have to continue to heat and cool their houses more than what they should.

She went on to say that she cannot stress enough the importance of a properly insulated home. She said that it will help people save a ton of money on their heating hills. It will also provide them with a more comfortable living environment.

Right now most people are in need of more insulation. Just recently, Thinkinsultation reported that 80 percent of homeowners have not improved their insulation in the last three years. Thus, most of the homes in the UK are long overdue for some new insulation.
