Also announced was the line up for the CEO panel which is comprised of top CEO’s from several different solar and electric power companies.

The aim of Solar Power International is to spread awareness about renewable resources and to discuss the challenges and strategies to make solar power more widely available. Solar power is becoming a more viable option has countries around the world attempt to curb energy consumption. The worldwide push towards renewable energy sources as a sole means of power has pushed solar power to the forefront of energy companies’ research and development goals.
The convention will take place from October 27-29, 2009, and is expected to draw about 25,000 people worldwide. This year the convention is being held in Anaheim, CA. Along with the CEO panel and the keynote address, the convention also features small group sessions, numerous training workshops, as well as input from over 200 experts.
