Today people are all, focusing on reducing the use of carbon generating heating system in their homes and offices. As a result, there is an accelerated growth in use of renewable energy , solar power and alternative water heating systems. The electric heaters are also powered by low carbon emitting electricity is what Dimplex states. Since the need for electricity is very high in countries where temperatures fall beneath zero, having enough power for the future has become an important issue that needs to be handled effectively. Global warming and energy emissions are the key areas being focused upon by the UK government, with primary focus on curbing the emission of carbon dioxide into the air by the cars and other vehicles. By cutting it down 60% by 2050, making it the first country to meet these targets.

Based on a survey conducted, the amount of carbon emitted through heating is 47% and through electricity is a mere 19%. Therefore, it is essential to change the system, and using of electricity in place of natural gases for water heating and other purposes is a feasible project. The Prime Minister has further emphasized on the need to generate renewable energy to meet the related targets by 2020 set by EU. The central role being played by the curbing of carbon emitting engines used in automobiles and industrial parts. Wind power and hydro-electric plants are a way to help achieve these targets and establish Britain as leaders in least emission of carbon.
